Brief 1: Badger Creek Brewery - Machining the display stand

The CNC machine in the woodwork department cuts into wood with presision and a much faster speed than doing it by hand.

Once out of the sander, I sanded the edges by hand to give a rounded softer finish.

It was decided by Ross, Suzanne and Joel in a peer led crit that the staining would not add to the aesthetic of the piece. A dark wood look suggests heritage and log cabins, perhaps more suited to cognac or whiskey. I stand by this idea and will keep the wood simple and stain free, I think that the colours on the bottle stand out much more also.
