Brief 1: Wine packaging

Wine packaging for the high end consumer is often created with elaborate and well exectued print finishing techniques such as foil blocking, embossing, wax and perforations. I wish to take inspiration from this market and bring elements of the luxury market to the applied graphics for this one off beer which will never be brewed again. This aims to achieve an element of uniqueness and rarity to the identity of the two beers by Badger Creek Brewery.

UNAThe official wine of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. This impact with striking photography and lighting is something I feel I can achieve with the beer bottles for Badger Creek. There is something that evokes exclusivity from the minimalism and wax sealing.

Cuvee S

"Cuvée S is a result of a collaborationship between Master of Wine Sebastian Bredal and the largest online dating service in Norway called sukker.no (translates sugar). The goal was to create a product that visualized LOVE in a surprising way with a modern expression. The visual concept is inspired by Russian Sonia Delaunay´s abstract painting from 1913 (below) and tailored to William Shakespear´s Romeo and Juliet; one of the most famous love stories. The play was originally staged in Verona, north Italy which is also the place where Cuvée S is produced today. The empty areas created between the dialogues are painted with aquarelle and are thought to reflect the tension and pauses in the dialogue between two people who meets for the first time."
