This brief went particularly well throughout the development process as the client was set on the idea of a fluid logo from the moment I pitched it to him. Once the initial hurdle of discovering what film producers do on a daily basis it became a concept driven piece of work. Having spoken to Chris about what he does on set for the production of movies, it was easy to pinpoint how to show his maturity, this came from the iconic Saul Bass posters and classic Hitchcock portrait references.
The client was very happy with the result and has sent me the following message regarding the success of the work.
Working on this brief made me realise how research of aesthetics can prove most effective when you don't search too deep, finding the cut off point and going with what felt right proved to be successful.
