Brief 7: Coeliac type - Booklet Proof

After I completed the first layout it was agreed that the proof needed to be done as soon as possible to check how the specimen read.

Findings
Front cover needs slight adjustment so more negative space gives room for illustrations to be clearer and displayed centrally.
Text was too high up.
Text too dominant on the page
Stock needs to be heavier weight.
Bright primary colours print well and give the correct aesthetic for the younger audience.
Natalie's illustrations give a huge impact on the page and add much needed focus to the layout.
Binding and cropping needs work, I have failed to account for the creep.

Overall

I feel that the spacing and layout of each page works well to display the typeface at its best and means it can be easily understood.

Due to the late decision to print vinyl we have experienced restrictions with printing therefore we are unable to add the vinyl we wanted.
