Original progression
Having a neck swing-tag or neck label could help keep as much space for the information as possible. The brewer always likes to record the bottling date, OG gravity and IBU of the beers. Having the label printed on a writable surface, e.g. not gloss will help also.
Complete alternative with no space for brewing notes.
Having an area of colour could help grab attention, especially if there is a series, my research into Mikkler and Evil Twin (link to specific research post) have helped with this one as they have abstract art on their bottles.
Colour surrounding a white space.
Crit
Andy Lodge commented on the design of this bottle label and suggested that it looked "dry and arid", for a liquid product having a contrast in content can be confusing. This is a great bit of feedback, I had not considered the aesthetic of the label in this way and ha prompted a new technique of image making for this bottle.
The set is over running on timescale due to wanting to produce 3 labels as a set and produce a 6 pack carrier.
The crit has set back the production of the label too as I know need to think of a new smoother aesthetic.
Process
The mint green is not working out in print and therefore will not be progressed through to the final labels.
