1 hour brief - Chris Stapleton

Manipulating the typeface from to remove the serif from the "C" and giving me the ability to make decisions on how to hand render the new type for the poster.

Tracing the letter forms to get a rough aesthetic, I will have to kern this in Photoshop.

The additional information for the poster and the lines have been drawn without reference to any existing typefaces, I will multiply the lines in Photoshop

I decided to not kern the "CHRIS" part of the type as I think it gives a width to a poster which will be quite thin anyway.

Screenprint separations

Although it is impossible to create the final prints within one hour due to limitations on time slots and exposure and drying times, I have sperated the artwork to see how it would look as a screen print.

The final print will have two colours, the lines will overlay one another to show the difficulty of writing music, this has been a theme of the album throughout Stapleton's producing.

This image on the Lightbox helps me see where the lines will cross and if the separations are aligned correctly.
