Way finding is important to this event, it was stressed in the briefing that people may have found it difficult to know what was on at what times and where to find amenities.
Including our intentions for the system of wayfinding an how it is linked with the event programme is therefore key to our pitch.
Breakthrough
This image of a clear acrylic signage system has sparked an idea for outdoor wayfinding that can be easily removed after the event. Having up lighting around or above the perspex sheet which would have vinyls on it would be cheap and effective.
I believe after the research I have looked at, this is a great option to follow through with.
