The window vinyl has been developed from the Duke Studios bikes campaign which pulls together independent businesses in the area. We will of course not be charging businesses to have a Winterlight sticker in the window, rather I have generated a less costly approach for the small business to be a part of the event and advertise to tourists and locals.
Any independent business that is sponsoring a part of the event or helping in any way can chopose to have a window vinyl. This advertises there impact on the festival to tourists and the local community whilst giving our client more exposure on the streets in the lead up to the event in December.
Alongside I feel that a strong twitter and social media campaign can vastly improve the notoriety and exposure of the event and the small businesses that are a part of the festivities.
We will pitch this concept with the social media side of the promotion in the section about rolling out the campaign prior to the event
