Within the song a line reads, “Just like flamingos look the same”, this I wanted to take literally and produce an illustration that lends itself to an unusual image. The history of Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry and this genre of music boasts colourful and flamboyant colour swatches.
In order to capture the essence of the song and the band I felt that Flamingos tie in perfectly with colour, my research focussed on this aspect of the design.
