Brief 10: A very Alternative Christmas - Research

Turning this around in a day requires me to work in a hand rendered format and with visuals around me whilst I work. 

My research took form by looking at greetings cards and existing messages which are expressed through illustration. I was able to show that script typography is a dominant style in gretings and message cards. 

The only exeption to this is this digital poster which has given me the idea of having the artwork centred with a large white space around it, rather than having a shape or a border on the page.
